Backgroud
It was established in 1962 A.D. with technical & financial assistance of the Swiss government and previously well known as Mechanical Training Center (MTC) and Balaju Technical Training Center (BTTC), with the aim of producing skilled industrial workforces to serve the growing needs of established industries in the country.

BSET is the center of excellence to produce competent workforce in TVET.

Mision
Impart employable skills to produce skilled technical workforce for the nation and international labour market.

BSET annouces free training to interested Nepali Citizen of age above 18 and have not taken any level one skill test. Interested Candidates  can submit the form to BSET with copy of Citizenship, 4 photos and academic certificates 

BSET will provide daily lauch allowance and training material for the students
