Performance Contract Signed Between CTEVT Member Secretary and Directors

In line with the Good Governance (Management and Operation) Act, 2064; Rule 11 of its Regulations, 2065; and the Performance Contract Guidelines for Government Officials, 2079, a performance contract for the fiscal year 2082/83 was signed between the Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Hon. Raghuji Pant, and the Member Secretary of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Er. Mahesh Bhattarai on Bhadra 03, 2082 B.S. The agreement ensures the implementation of activities specified in the council’s approved budget and programs for the fiscal year 2082/83. Based on the contract with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), the Member Secretary of CTEVT signed performance contracts with the heads of central-level CTEVT offices, divisions, and projects for the fiscal year 2082/83 on Bhadra 9, 2082. 

During a program held at the CTEVT central office, agreements were signed with key officials including the Director of the National Skill Testing Board, Mr. Bhubaneshwar Dhungana; the Executive Director of the Training Institute for Technical Instruction (TITI), Er. Anoj Bhattarai; the Director of Training Development Division and ENSSURE Project, Mr. Ram Hari Devkota; the Director of Polytechnic Division, Er. Arvind Kumar Chaudhary; the Director of Technical Education in Community Schools (TECS) Division, Mr. Hemant Parajuli; the Director of Curriculum Development and Equivalence Division and Administration Division, Mr. Binod Badal; Director of Research and Information Division, Mr. Tailendra Acharya; the Controller of the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Er. Umesh Kumar Mishra; and the Director of Policy Formulation and Planning Division, Mr. Gehendra Karki.

The event included discussions on the key activities (milestones) to be accomplished in the fiscal year 2082/83. Speaking on the occasion, Member Secretary Er. Mahesh Bhattarai directed officials to ensure the effective implementation of the agreements, which are aligned with the government’s policies, programs, and budget for the current fiscal year. He further stated that agreements with the remaining divisions, projects, and office heads would be concluded soon.
