The earthquake of April 25, 2015 and its recurring aftershocks caused massive destruction in the country. It claimed minimum 9000 lives of citizen and left thousands of people without homes and shelter. Public properties like buildings, bridges and roads were damaged. In this context, CTEVT took prompt initiative in post-earthquake reconstruction. It has been conducting short-term training programs on constructing earthquake resilient buildings and houses.
