The Division is responsible for the following activities.

>> It monitors / supervises the Rural Training Centers (RTCs) under CTEVT and coordinates with the similar efforts of private institutions.

>> It facilitates and provides guidelines to run need based short term vocational courses, especially to the illiterate women and underprivileged people of local communities through RTCs.

>> It encourages RTCs to run sponsored courses and to strengthen workforce of Village Development Committees (VDCs), District Development Committees (DDCs) and other INGOs/NGOs in the field of Vocational Training and Community Development (VTCD).
